Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner on the world championship title: “I warmly congratulate platoon leader Sebastian Graser on his world championship title in the target jump and am delighted for Austrian Armed Forces Sport. To deviate only three centimeters from a target circle with a diameter of three centimeters in eight jumps and thus emerge as the winner from 25 nations with 134 jumpers from this competition is a tremendous sporting achievement and once again shows the precision, professionalism and continuity of our army athletes and thus also of the entire Austrian Armed Forces.”

The 45th World Military Parachuting Championships (45th WMPC) are being held by the Austrian Armed Forces under the flag of the International Military Sports Confederation CISM (Conseil International du Sport Militaire) from June 20 to 30. This international competition is organized by the Military Command Burgenland and the Jägerbataillon 19 in Güssing.
