Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner: “Once again, we have seen how quickly and competently our soldiers – in this case experts from the NBC defense force – solve challenging operational tasks. Such missions prove how important it is to prepare for complex threat scenarios. This is done with the necessary training together with state-of-the-art equipment. We have already achieved a great deal in this respect and will continue to consistently pursue the path of retrofitting. I would like to express my sincere thanks and respect to all those who helped with this assistance operation, whose swift and competent commitment prevented the further spread of bird flu. At the same time, I wish all farmers and all those affected a lot of strength in these challenging times.”
