American born, “Swiss Made”: Luminox is expanding its Survival Master 3740 series with the XB.3748, a new model with a striking silver-colored dial. The watch manufacturer is also extending its partnership with outdoor specialist Bear Grylls.
For years, Bear Grylls has relied on the Luminox brand for his adventures and experiences. These often take him to remote areas and regions where extreme conditions prevail. In turn, the adventurer incorporates his experiences into the further development of the Bear Grylls series, which is continuously optimized and expanded as a result.
The new XB.3748 chronograph has a silver dial, matching hour and minute hands and an extremely robust and extremely lightweight Carbonox+ case with a diameter of 45 millimetres and a unidirectional rotating bezel. Special details include an SOS Morse code reminder on the dial, a removable compass attached to the strap on the dark grey rubber strap and a water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM).
The new Bear Grylls Survival Master from Luminox has 18 extremely luminous Luminox Light Technology (LLT) tubes, which enable the wearer to easily read the time in all light conditions for up to 25 years. These green and orange luminous tubes are located on the hour hand, the minute hand, the bezel and the chronograph hand of the outdoor watch.
As with all Luminox X Bear Grylls timepieces, the watch bears the Bear Grylls logo on the dial and the characteristic orange screw-in crown. Bear’s motto “Never Give Up” is engraved in orange on the case back next to his signature.
