Next career step for Harald Vodosek: The Chief of Armaments of the Austrian Armed Forces is promoted to lieutenant general.
Lieutenant General Harald Vodosek joined the Austrian Armed Forces in 1982 as a one-year volunteer and then graduated from the Theresian Military Academy. After several years with the Landwehrstammregiment 34 and at the Military Academy, he completed the 14th General Staff Course.
After serving as Head of Logistics of the 9th Armored Infantry Brigade and as Head of the Armaments Planning Department in the Ministry of Defense, he worked in the military representation in Brussels. In the following years, he held several positions in the Ministry and was Commander of the Fighter Command.
Subsequently, Lieutenant General Vodosek was Head of the Deployment Support Group and Head of Human Resource Management for the Austrian Armed Forces from 2013.
