Meprolight announces the signing of a contract to equip the Israeli police with the Sting Pro laser sight. The device was optimized for the contract.

The brief was to create a compact device for close range (CQB) and for use in adverse lighting conditions. The laser sight was therefore specially developed for this order by Meprolight (-> News from Meprolight and the SK Group on the Enforce Tac 2025): To differentiate it from the military version, the Israeli police are given a green laser. In addition, the now more compact device has the activation button on the head side.

The Meprolight Sting Pro emits the laser at two wavelengths: in visible light (650 nanometers) and in the infrared range. Two intensity modes are also available (low and high-intensity option). The Sting Pro weighs 250 grams and is said to run for up to twelve hours on a single 1.5 volt AA battery. It is mounted on a Picatinny rail.
