The successor to the Austrian C-130 Hercules transport aircraft is the Embraer KC-390. KC-390 from Embraer is known to be an issue. Now the Brazilian manufacturer, in cooperation with Rheinmetall Aviation Services, has inaugurated its first simulator for the air transporter at the Embraer Academy at the Eugênio de Mello site in São José dos Campos.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the Brazilian and Portuguese air forces as well as representatives of Rheinmetall participated. “The new KC-390 simulator will meet the demand of current and future customers for basic and advanced pilot training, contributing to the safe and effective operation of the aircraft,” said Johann Bordais, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support. “Brazil, Portugal and Hungary will be the first countries to use this equipment.
