Glock will soon be releasing pistols with their own mount for an Aimpoint Reddot. The Glock x Aimpoint combination does not require adapter plates.

Glock recently presented a new combination of pistol and red dot. An Aimpoint COA red dot is mounted directly on the Aimpoint A-Cut recess on the slide.

Because the assembly does not require any adapter plates at all, this is an immediate and direct connection between the optics and the gun.

During our visit to the Glock factory, we had the opportunity to try out the new COA models in live fire. Our experiences and further details on the new pistols from Glock are summarized here.

The following Glock models with the special cut-out will be available from January 20, 2025:

  • Glock 19 Gen 5 A-Cut
  • Glock 43X A-Cut
  • Glock 45 A-Cut
  • Glock 47 A-Cut
  • Glock 48 A-Cut
