Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace has signed a contract with Patria for the delivery of Protector remote weapon stations for more than 300 Patria-vehicles, which the Finnish company will deliver to Sweden and Finland. The contract is worth just over 100 million euros.

Kongsberg will supply its Protector RS4 weapon stations for Patria’s Common Armored Vehicle Systems (CAVS), a well-protected and highly mobile modular 6×6 vehicle. Patria only announced a contract on March 20 contract for the delivery of 321 such CAVS vehicles to the Swedish Armed Forces.
