In cooperation with the Order of St. Stanislaus, the “Soldiers with a Heart” association has made a significant donation to the Youth Emergency Shelter (JUNO) in Klagenfurt. Among the items brought along were urgently needed hygiene products such as toothbrushes, deodorants, razors and feminine products.
In addition, ten exclusive jerseys from the soccer clubs Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Paris St. Germain, who were visiting Klagenfurt this week, were presented to the young residents. “Soldiers with Heart” President John Patrick Platzer emphasized the importance of cohesion and the role of sport: “This donation shows what we can achieve together. Sport is a powerful tool to build bridges and give hope. We are proud to be able to put a smile on the faces of the young people in Klagenfurt with their dream jerseys.” https://militaeraktuell.at/general-atomics-unbemannte-systeme-helfen-welt/ Prior Thomas Schatz from the Order of St. Stanislaus added: “Our commitment shows that we are strong together. Sport promotes team spirit and cohesion – values that we should all share.” Social worker Rene Huber expressed his thanks on behalf of the youth shelter: “This generous donation is a strong signal and shows how important solidarity and support are. We are deeply grateful to Soldiers with Heart and the Order of St. Stanislaus.” “Soldiers with Heart” Vice President Imrana Jashari emphasized the importance of the hygiene articles: “Puberty marks the beginning of a phase in life in which young people are increasingly interested in their appearance. Proper hygiene is important to avoid infections and other health problems. With our donation, we want to make a small contribution to improving the everyday lives of the young residents.”
At the end, President Platzer announced a special surprise: “Our special jerseys should of course be worn properly.” For this reason, the young guests and a supervisor from both organizations will soon be invited to the Wörthersee Stadium to cheer on and admire their idols at a match. The “Soldiers with Heart” have already been able to carry out a number of fundraising campaigns in recent weeks and months. At the beginning of April, for example, an Easter campaign and at the beginning of the year a silent auction of three KAC jerseys for a good cause.
