The domestic glove manufacturer Eska presents at the Enforce Tac at the end of February in Nuremberg with the Titan, the Vader and the Spartacus, three new tactile combat gloves in a modern design.
The company is back at Enforce Tac for the first time since 2018. “This is the perfect time for us to present our new products to the world. Our development team works closely with military personnel from all over the world and has incorporated their practical knowledge into the gloves. We are delighted with the results,” says Eska Managing Director Paus Loos. Every area of application places different demands on a combat glove. Depending on the model, Eska has aimed for unrestricted weapon use, cut protection and dexterity or a combination of these. “While the Titan impresses with all-round cut protection, dexterity and high-tech materials from Europe, the Vader ingeniously combines precision and protection. The strikingly lightweight Spartacus scores with its fit, dexterity, grip and back of hand protection,” reveals Loos. https://militaeraktuell.at/es-wird-in-zukunft-stuermisch-werden/ The Upper Austrian company has also opened a new chapter in terms of design. “We have given our combat gloves a modern look that immediately catches the eye,” says Loos. “The Vader model is available in black, green and coyote to match the respective uniform.”
Titan: Unrestricted use of weapons
As a further development of the Thor II model, which has sold thousands of units, the Titan tactile combat glove scores points with all-round cut protection and maximized dexterity. High-tech materials tested and processed in Europe, leather reinforcements and the D3O knuckle protector ensure protection. With the Grip digital leather on the palm, armed forces have a firm grip on everything. All materials in this glove have been awarded the highest level of cut resistance in accordance with EN 388 and are flame-retardant in accordance with EN407, flammability level 4. The antibacterial lining made of Kevlar knit with glass fibers is another plus.
Vader: precision and protection combined
According to Eska, the Vader tactical glove combines design, grip and protection “to an unprecedented degree”. The silicone print on the palm ensures the best grip, while the certified backhand protector and the newly developed cut ensure a high level of tactile sensitivity at the fingertips. Available in black, green and coyote.
Spartacus: Light to the fingers
Unrestricted use of smart devices and touch displays is also becoming increasingly important in the field. The soft Amara palm on the Eska Spartacus model is designed to make this possible. A protector covered with abrasion-resistant Amara protects the back of the hand and the silicone print on the palm ensures excellent grip. The Spartacus is surprisingly light and impresses with its fit and dexterity. The short, tight cuff makes it quick and easy to put on and take off.
