“With such major contracts, the Federal Ministry of Defense not only makes a significant contribution to securing jobs and strengthening the domestic economy, but also ensures that the supply of spare parts and services is secured within Austria even in times of crisis, without being exclusively dependent on global supply chains,” Empl continued. “In addition, the long-standing wish of the Austrian economy to be directly involved in procurement in certain areas or, if this is not possible (such as for aircraft, helicopters, etc.), to be at least indirectly involved via the supply chains is being met.” Only recently Empl delivered new extinguishing containers to the army delivered.
