Elbit Systems receives an order worth around 200 million euros from the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) to supply a high-performance laser for the Iron Beam air defence system.
Under the contract, Elbit Systems will provide IMOD with high-power laser solutions for the Iron Beam project (-> How does the Iron Beam laser work?). According to a recent press release, the company has developed these “to provide a robust defense against a wide range of threats”.
