General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) and Escribano Mechanical and Engineering (EME) have signed an agreement to jointly develop opportunities in the defense sector. The announcement was made in Paris at Eurosatory on the EME stand in front of a GDELS Ascod infantry fighting vehicle with an EME Guardian 30 remote-controlled weapon system.

The two companies intend to explore and promote numerous areas of cooperation: The focus will be on the family of GDELS tracked and wheeled armored vehicles such as Ascod, Pandur (GDELS-Steyr: 225 new Pandur for the Austrian Armed Forces) and Piranha as well as the advanced Guardian 30 and Guardian 2.0 remote-controlled weapon stations from Escribano.

We are convinced that this agreement will allow us to further advance the development of new solutions at the forefront of technology and strengthen our cooperation.”
