“New requirements demand new solutions” – this was the motto under which Zarges presented new and further developments to its product portfolio at the Eurosatory defense trade fair in Paris from June 13 to 17. These included the EMP-shielded Mitraset box, which now also includes an extension with fuel cells from the manufacturer SFC as well as the Arvey B2 battery storage system from Axsol, and is aimed at decarbonizing the armed forces. New developments were also presented: The new weapon mechanic’s box reduces transportation costs thanks to its low weight.
Decarbonizing the energy supply of the armed forces is a declared goal of the Federal Ministry of Defence’s sustainability strategy. Zarges has therefore developed the Arvey B2 in collaboration with power system manufacturer Axsol. With an output of 2,400 watts and a battery capacity of 2,250 watt hours, the Arvey B2 can be charged as required without the use of fossil fuels, for example via photovoltaics or fuel cells. The electronic components are protected by the Mitraset enclosure system from Zarges. Practical and space-saving: New transport solution for weapons mechanics
In cooperation with the German Armed Forces, Zarges has developed an adapted transport and storage container for the operational requirements of weapons mechanics. The mobile box from the K 424 XC series has been equipped with an upper compartment and two drawers to ensure clear and quick access to the tools. The aluminum construction enables a high payload and a division according to application groups, sizes and requirements. The low tare weight and stackability also significantly simplify loading, especially for air transportation. The transport and storage container complies with protection class IP 54. https://militaeraktuell.at/millionen-auftrag-fuer-carinthia-aus-tschechien/ MPO emergency trolley and modular container
The MPO emergency trolley and modular container also focus on ergonomics and ease of configuration: the aluminum modular containers are suitable as transport and storage containers for a wide range of applications and are used wherever medical supplies, tools or spare parts need to be stored and kept within easy reach at all times. They provide a storage solution as a mobile storage system for rapid deployment and adaptability to changing room configurations and possible uses. The special containers as well as the MPO trolleys accommodate closed ISO standard modules or baskets, thus facilitating consumption-based picking as well as the rapid exchange of contents. “With our high-quality aluminum products, we are addressing the needs of the defence sector for contemporary transport solutions. This naturally includes compliance with the highest quality standards such as REACH, ISO, military standards and defense equipment standards, but goes even further,” says Thomas Hirschauer, Key Account Manager Defence at Zarges.
