UVision Inc and Mistral Inc have been awarded a contract worth around EUR 69 million by the US government for the supply of Hero-120SF loitering ammunition for the US Special Operations Command received. The contract includes ammunition, spare parts, engineering change proposals and training. Work under this contract is expected to be completed in 2029.
“This significant contract with the US Special Operations Command, supported by our strong partnership with Mistral, underscores the commitment of both UVision and Mistral to provide cutting-edge technology and operational expertise to protect US national security,” said UVision USA CEO, Major General Avi Mizrachi.
The Hero-120SF Loitering Munition System is an advanced medium-range anti-tank system designed specifically for heavy targets such as tanks and other armored vehicles. Equipped with a range of multi-purpose warheads, the Hero-120SF offers greater flexibility for use from different platforms. Thanks to improved precision, collateral damage should also be minimized.
