A total of 74 recruits from Armored Infantry Battalion 13 from Ried im Innkreis took their oath of allegiance in the moated castle of Aurolzmünster on March 1. The recruits arrived in Ried im Innkreis in February.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the invitation of Mayor Peter Kettl in the presence of the Military Commander of Upper Austria, Brigadier Dieter Muhr, the 2nd President of the Provincial Parliament Sabine Binder, Club Chairman Christian Dörfel, Battalion Commander Colonel Alfred Steingreß and other guests of honor. https://militaeraktuell.at/bundeswehr-setzt-auch-auf-rheinmetall-skyranger/ After a concert by the Upper Austrian Military Band and a tasting from the troop kitchen, the recruits were able to drive home with their families.
