On September 4, hand cyclist Thomas Frühwirth won silver in the individual time trial at the Paralympics in Paris 2024. The army-athlete was beaten by the Dutchman Jetze Plat by just 2.71 seconds. This is the fourth Paralympic silver medal for the Styrian from the Army Performance Sports Center Graz, following two in Tokyo 2021 and one in Rio 2016.
