News again from Quantum Systems: After the drone manufacturer announced the successful announced the successful completion of a financing roundQuantum Systems, together with ARX Robotics, is now announcing the establishment of an alliance for companies in the field of unmanned systems in all dimensions. Together with other partners in the industry, the new alliance under the name UXS Alliance is intended to bundle German and European know-how and thus contribute to securing the NATO-eastern flank and the defense of Europe.
“In a tense geopolitical situation, various conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh (-> Nagorno-Karabakh analysis: The drone plague) to Ukraine (-> current news from the Ukraine war) show the increasing importance of unmanned systems on the modern battlefield,” as stated in a press release from the two companies. And further: “While Ukraine, for example, is already comprehensively integrating unmanned systems on land, in the air and on water into its armed forces, this development is only just beginning in Germany, Europe and NATO.”
Quantum Systems and ARX had already had already agreed on a strategic partnership in spring. A central element of the now announced cooperation which is already under development, will be a software framework that connects all unmanned systems regardless of manufacturer. Under the motto “UXS Alliance: Leaders of the unmanned Future”, the alliance will be based in Berlin and offers other companies the opportunity to become members.
“The future is unmanned. And with the alliance, we want to express our claim that we are creating a strategic asset for Germany and Europe that strengthens our resilience and makes us a technological pioneer,” says Quantum Systems founder and CEO Florian Seibel.
Mark Wietfeld, CEO and founder of ARX Robotics adds: “Stronger Together. This is not only NATO’s motto, but must also apply to the Alliance’s industry. With the UXS Alliance, we want to set an example that scalable and modular systems will be crucial for the success of all missions in the future.”
