Voere presented a new precision rifle at the IWA 2024 that arouses curiosity. We were allowed to take a closer look at the model from Kufstein.
The tactical repeaters of the Voere X series have long been appreciated by authorities and long-range shooters from all over the world. With calibers ranging from 6.5 Creedmore up to 50 Browning, the X3, X4 and X5 models cover the long range and extreme long range, i.e. up to 2,000 meters. The “smaller” M2 is available from caliber 223 Rem. to 300 Win. Due to the high modularity, barrel and caliber changes are carried out quickly, and precision and durability are guaranteed by the high stability.
The new Alpha 3 series now also follows this concept. In addition to the high inherent accuracy, the proven match pressure point trigger (with curved trigger blade) and the interchangeability of barrel and caliber, the A3 particularly shows its advantages in dynamic long-range disciplines: The tactical match stock accepts AICS magazines and has AR15 interfaces as well as a folding stock.
A one-piece, integrated Picatinny rail serves as the basis for mounting the riflescope. Additional attachments can be easily mounted on the handguard using the M-LOK system. Numerous options, from the ground spur to the pistol grip with palm rest, are offered directly by Voere. The Alpha 3 is available in the calibers 6.5 Creedmore, 308 Win. and 300 Win. Mag.
No exaggeration: even in its standard configuration, the A3 makes a real impression. The modularity is impressive, the trigger breaks – as expected – crystal clear, the construction is solid and the Voere factory in Kufstein is known for its precise work.
