As of 1.30 p.m., the following forces were deployed to deal with the masses of snow, the avalanche situation and the supply situation in Upper Styria.

In the Eisenerz and Johnsbach area, 118 soldiers from Strass, Graz, Feldbach and St. Michael, mainly to remove snow loads from roofs
- At Aigen Air Base in the Enns Valley, the crews of a total of 5 army helicopters are ready to respond to small-scale weather changes at short notice. By 2.30 p.m. today, an avalanche was triggered in the Wildalpen area with 11 explosions. Pictures of this operation are attached.
- At 2:30 p.m., an attempt was made to free the trees on the Styrian side of the federal highway over the Pötschen Pass from the snow load using a helicopter downdraft.
- The Styrian military command has alerted a further 30 soldiers from Gratkorn, who will arrive in Ausseerland in the afternoon to free a riding hall in Grundlsee that is in danger of collapsing from the snow load.
- the security police assistance operation at the state border will continue with undiminished strength
The Styrian military command is expecting further requests for assistance from the authorities in the coming hours and days and is therefore keeping additional forces on standby. The end of the operation is not foreseeable due to the weather.
