Mehler Protection, part of the Mehler Systems Group, has presented the Omega ballistic helmet series. The two new models – Omega Core and Omega Hybrid – are made of high-performance polyethylene and are designed to combine protection with wearing comfort.
The Omega series meets the current protection standards, with ballistic protection standing out. Wearing comfort is optimized with adjustable padding, ventilation systems and better harness systems, while the low weight also plays a role. Thanks to the modular design, the helmets can also be individually adapted to the application. For example, rails, shrouds and clips can be attached to the helmet by the user.
The Omega Core helmet was primarily developed for military applications and offers protection against fragments and bullets from small arms. The Omega Hybrid helmet, on the other hand, is designed for law enforcement and special operations and offers more comprehensive protection.
