The outgoing commander of the TLZ, Colonel Harald Manzl, handed over command to his successor, Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Huber.

The officer has already held various positions within the Airspace Surveillance Association (LRÜ) since his retirement in 2008 and therefore has extensive experience in technology and logistics for his new role. Colonel Manzl, who headed the TLZ for almost a quarter of a century, is taking his well-deserved retirement.
