The German Brand Award is considered one of the most important brand awards in the German-speaking world. This year, it went twice to Kobza and the Hungry Eyes (KTHE) from Austria – including for the “Tagwache bei Kratky” series for the Austrian Armed Forces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY8TbcO3bl8

The local creative agency was able to beat the competition in two categories, winning both with its “Employer Branding Campaign” for the Haus der Barmherzigkeit and in the “Brand Communication – Integrated Campaign” category for the Austrian Armed Forces. The heart of the content campaign is the video series “Tagwache mit Kratky” with Ö3 presenter Robert Kratky in the leading role, which – as reported – also won an Austrian Video Award in 2018. In 16 parts, the campaign shows the various services and areas of the Austrian Armed Forces.

After starting with the Hunting Command in Wiener Neustadt (see video above), a day with the Melk Pioneers, visits to the military dogs in Kaisersteinbruch and the Guards, Kratky was also a guest of the Air Force, the Mountain Infantry, Tank Battalion 14, the NBC Defense Force, the Army Divers, the Military Police and the Armored Infantry, the reconnaissance and artillery soldiers, the air surveillance soldiers and the Army Logistics. The tour concluded with a day at the Theresian Military Academy (see video below).

“It is a great honor and distinction to have won the German Brand Award,” says Rudi Kobza, Managing Director of KTHE. “We are delighted that our campaigns have also received a great response and recognition outside Austria.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCzcP6I5KHo
