After an Iranian special unit for electronic warfare managed to take over a US drone and force it to land in December 2011, according to Tehran, Iran now claims to have achieved something similar again.
General Amir Ali Hajizadeh of the Revolutionary Guards stated a few days ago that Tehran was able to read the information and footage from seven to eight drones. Some of the videos recorded by the drones were published as proof. They also show how one of the unmanned flying objects crashes in the desert due to a malfunction (see image). The drone was then destroyed by US jets.
