“I pledge” rang through the training facilities at the Pöls garrison training area near Graz on Wednesday evening. The young cadre candidates, who started their training at Jäger Battalion 17 in Straß at the beginning of September, were sworn in as part of their field camp week.
In the presence of the commander of the 3rd Jägerbrigade, Brigadier Christian Habersatter, as well as their family members and friends, the recruits promised to serve the Republic of Austria and the Austrian people in their pledge of allegiance.
