The Polish Ministry of Defense has announced an order for eleven M3SR 4100 series HF marine radios from Rohde & Schwarz Austria. In addition, systems already delivered in previous years are to receive a software update.
The radio systems are therefore intended for radio communication at various command levels, including communication with land systems and aircraft.

The contract is worth around 4.5 million euros gross and, in addition to the new devices (delivery between 2024 and 2026), also includes the delivery of two RNMS DS3100M radio network management systems, two sets of spare parts and technical documentation. As a result of successive procurements, more than 70 devices are now in use – the last batch was ordered in 2021 (delivery by the end of 2022).
