The airplanes from Diamond Aircraft are in demand worldwide: The Argentinian Ministry of Defense has announced the acquisition of the DA-62 MPP special mission aircraft produced by the Austrian manufacturer. According to official figures, the order is worth 7.8 million euros.

As can be seen from Dossier No. 84/7-0061-CDI22 of the General Staff of the Argentine Army, the contract was awarded as part of a “direct award procedure with a claim to exclusivity”. The award was preceded by an extensive technical analysis by the Army Aviation Command. The DA-62 MPP is characterized by its high payload capacity, modern composite technology and avionics systems, including the Garmin G1000 NXi glass cockpit and a fully integrated GFC700 autopilot. In addition, the DA-62 MPP offers space for two pilots, an operator station and sufficient space for mission equipment and tools. Mission equipment can be stowed in the baggage compartment using fixed points and/or an equipment rack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=MqAngegZR-A&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.diamondaircraft.com%2F&feature=emb_title The aircraft has also been specially designed to carry multifunctional aerial sensors such as EO/IR cameras, land and sea radars, COMINT solutions, airborne laser scanners, large-format digital aerial cameras and much more.
