Among the highlights presented was Taranis Adler, a software solution for Joint Fire Support that can connect all units on the battlefield – from sensor to effector – in real time. As a result, the system improves coordination throughout the chain of command and enables more effective fire support and improved situational awareness. Also on display was the Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS) Ground Kit. This is based on the Taranis Adler software with integrated hardware and improves the decision-making of Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) in demanding Close Air Support (CAS) scenarios. The interoperable solution enables the rapid exchange of target data and situation information between JTACs, fighter aircraft and C2 units. https://militaeraktuell.at/gdels-baut-fertigung-grosskalibriger-geschuetzrohre-wieder-auf/ ESG also presented its Augmented Common Operational Picture (ACOP) solution. This is a realistic, interactive 3D visualization of the battlefield with a situation display of land, air and naval forces. By using augmented reality glasses, ACOP enables terrain assessment and interactive situation briefings for simulation-based military training and operational planning. ESG also showcased mobile command and control equipment – from individual servo elements to complete container-based command posts – a solution for detecting and defending against drones and a new technology solution for vehicle-based multi-platform mission management, which was developed jointly with Welp. This technology enables the coordination and management of multiple drone types for complex missions. The system provides real-time access to all drone payloads and “tasking on demand” for each drone system.
