A few days ago, Elbit Systems completed sea trials of the fourth generation of its EW Counter Measure Dispensing System Deseaver MK-4 on board Israeli Navy vessels.

The tests focused in particular on the new system’s ability to react in the event of missile attack scenarios. This included, for example, the firing of decoys from several launchers against several simultaneous threats.

@ElbitAs already mentioned, the Deseaver MK 4 is the fourth generation of the EW system, which, as part of Elbit’s Integrated Electronic Warfare Suite (IEWS), is designed to fully exploit the so-called “soft-kill capabilities” for missile defense. The IEWS from Elbit Systems ISTAR and EW is in service with the Israeli Navy and other international naval forces. The Deseaver MK 4 system consists of multiple launchers capable of quickly and accurately placing and firing decoys selected by the missile defense algorithms. The system uses a range of passive and active decoys. Like its predecessors, the fourth-generation Deseaver can be fully integrated with other naval combat systems. https://militaeraktuell.at/wir-muessen-faehigkeitsluecken-schliessen/ Oren Sabag, General Director of Elbit Systems ISTAR & EW: “We are proud of our long-term cooperation with and support of the Israeli Navy. The successful completion of these tests is further proof of the reliability of our technology and the advanced protection capabilities it offers against new and evolving threats.”
