According to a recent press release, Ceotronics has now been awarded the BSFZ seal of approval for the in-house development of the full-duplex capable DECT-based stand-alone radio system.

According to Ceotronics, the award goes to “probably the most flexible self-sufficient digital radio system for working in the most adverse environmental conditions”. The system allows up to twelve participants to communicate simultaneously. The mobile, extremely robust and weatherproof housing has two CT-ComLink interfaces for connecting headsets and wired connections to InterCom systems or radios. Alternatively, the system can also be linked to a cell phone, enabling worldwide connections. Control is possible via the impact- and scratch-resistant display. This means that a digital communication network can be set up for locally operating task forces within seconds, even under the most difficult conditions, without the need for a 5G / LTE or TETRA network. The wireless intercom system, which has been tested to extremely tough standards, is powered by two Varta high-performance rechargeable batteries and thus ensures virtually delay-free, wireless full-duplex communication. The CT-DECT Case can be ideally adapted to different application scenarios via various
software profiles. The seal is awarded exclusively by the Certification Body for Research Allowance (BSFZ).
