Rheinmetall has received an order from the German government to supply Ukraine with 20 additional Marder infantry fighting vehicles. The order was placed in March and has a value in the mid double-digit million euro range. Delivery of this new batch is scheduled to take place in the course of 2024.

However, the Bundeswehr now also uses more than 300 Puma infantry fighting vehicles, which represent the latest generation of this type of combat vehicle and are gradually taking over from the Marder in the army. To this end 2023, a second batch of 50 additional Puma has been ordered.
