As a subcontractor of JB Investments Limited, Airborne Airborne Technologies recently received an order to modernize four new helicopters for the Polish police. The helicopters will be purchased as part of the project “Safer on the Roads – Aerial Traffic Surveillance”, which is being implemented with the help of EU funds from the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment.
Four modern, light multi-purpose patrol and observation helicopters of the type Bell 407GXi helicopters will each be equipped with an Airborne LINX Surveillance System:
- Airborne Linx Operator Workstation
- Airborne Technologies Mission Management Unit
- Trakka TC-300 SDIR gimbal ring
- Trakka A-800 searchlight
- Trakka TM-100 Augmented Reality System and
- ECS downlink
The four helicopters will join three other 407GXi helicopters that are already in service with the Polish police. The helicopters are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2023.
