The US Department of Defense has now published an official compilation of US military aid provided to Kiev to date. It also states that the security aid with which the Biden administration is supporting Ukraine is enabling “decisive successes against the Russian invasion forces on the battlefield”. The administration is working “around the clock” to fulfill Ukraine’s priority security requests, deliver weapons from U.S. stocks as they become available, and facilitate the delivery of weapons by allies and partners when their systems better meet Ukraine’s needs.” https://militaeraktuell.at/russland-verzeichnet-ersten-kampfverlust-einer-su-35/ Since February 24, a total of 1.7 billion US dollars (around 1.56 billion euros) has been delivered, including the following systems:

  • more than 1,400 Stinger air defense systems (MANPADS)
  • more than 5,000 Javelin armor systems (PAL – ATGM, see picture above)
  • more than 7,000 other anti-tank systems
  • Hundreds of Switchblade tactical UAVs (“lunging ammunition”)
  • more than 7,000 small arms
  • Around 50 million rounds of ammunition
  • 45,000 body armor and helmets

According to various ATC tracking sites, between eight and ten US transport planes with US equipment land at airfields in Ukraine’s eastern NATO neighbors every day.

Update from April 13, 2022: The Biden administration increases military aid for Ukraine by a further 800 million euros (see report) to well over two billion euros. Details on the composition of the increase in artillery and helicopters were provided in a press briefing by the Pentagon press spokesman, John F. Kirby.
