The Royal Canadian Air Force (Canadian Air Force) relies on Frequentis communication and recording technology for three new tactical control radars.

Prime contractor Thales Canada has awarded Frequentis Canada a contract to supply mission-critical communications equipment for the Tactical Control Radar (TCR). The project, which will support future Royal Canadian Air Force operations, includes three new TCR systems to be deployed in Bagotville, Quebec, and Cold Lake, Alberta.

The TCR modernization project enables the Canadian Air Force to support domestic and international operations on an ongoing basis by providing tactical and transportable airspace surveillance and control capabilities.
