In addition to the high-quality Tangent Theta target optics, Armament Technology will now also distribute the ELCAN brand of target optics exclusively through RUAG Ammotec in the military and government sectors. This will further strengthen the partnership between the two companies.
The Canadian optics and targeting system manufacturer Armament Technology has been the master distributor for ELCAN-brand targeting optics since 1994. Now the company is once again relying on RUAG Ammotec’s European dealer network. “We are very pleased to be working with Ammotec for the ELCAN brand as well. The entire Ammotec team is highly professional and has years of expertise and an established and strong dealer network,” says Trevor Publicover, Vice President Sales at Armament Technology. An exclusive distribution partnership between Ammotec and Armament Technology was signed earlier this year, initially for the distribution of its own Tangent Theta brand.
ELCAN riflescopes are designed for military applications and offer solutions for use by armed forces and police units around the world. The ELCAN Specter DR, for example, combines the advantages of a red dot sight with those of a compact riflescope. And it became known as the first riflescope that allows you to change the magnification with a switch lever while maintaining the aiming point, visual acuity and field of view (dual-view setup). “ELCAN’s optical systems are developed for soldiers and tested for these missions. Each of the systems works at the decisive moment and the shooter can concentrate fully on his target.
