The armored personnel carrier was handed over by Paul Walf, Managing Director of Rheinmetall Hungary, in the presence of Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky. To demonstrate the efficiency of the new production facility, a second Lynx was also handed over. According to Walf, the plant can produce up to 100 vehicles per year. The Lynx KF41 for the Hungarian armed forces was originally planned in seven variants: Standard infantry fighting vehicle, command post vehicle, armored reconnaissance vehicle, fire control vehicle, mortar carrier, medical vehicle and driving school vehicle. Rheinmetall will also develop a Lynx anti-aircraft tank with a Skyranger 30 turret as an additional variant. The development contract for this was signed at the end of 2023.
