Jan Kadlec recently took over as Head of Marketing at Tatra Trucks. The experienced product marketing manager is thus returning to his old place of work. He already worked at Tatra from 2010 to 2013, organizing the marketing communication for the launch of the then brand-new Phoenix series and was part of the team that created the slogan “Tatra gets you further”, which the Czech car manufacturer still uses successfully today.
Lukáš Andrýsek, CEO of Tatra Trucks, commented on the appointment of Jan Kadlec as follows: “My priority is to bring qualified and experienced professionals to Tatra, and I am convinced that I have succeeded in doing so in the case of Jan Kadlec as the new Head of Marketing. He is not new to Tatra, as he was involved in the launch of the Tatra Phoenix model range, which is one of the pillars of our portfolio.” Jan Kadlec, together with his marketing team, will develop the concept of Customer Value Proposition, which is a measurable effect achieved and evaluated based on the actual use of the vehicles and the associated customer service. Jan Kadlec is an experienced marketing manager with experience in manufacturing companies with in-house research and development in the automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Before returning to Tatra, he was Product Manager at Simply You Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, he worked at Varroc Lighting Systems for nine years, including as Marketing Manager. From 2010 to 2013, he worked at Tatra Trucks, where his main project was the launch of the new Tatra Phoenix model range. This won the International Truck of the Year Award in 2012 for the best all-wheel drive truck of the year. He is a graduate of the University of Commerce and Economics in Ostrava, where he studied marketing and economics.
