Since the start of the all-out war of aggression against Ukraine (-> current news from the war in Ukraine), the Russian air force has used more than 51,000 precision-guided glide bombs against Ukraine, including around 40,000 in 2024 alone. This was reported by the Ukrainian air force on Telegram.
The majority of the bombs were dropped on Ukrainian army positions or in regions close to the front, but there were also several attacks on large cities.
“Yesterday the world witnessed another act of terrorism by the Russians in Zaporizhia, today in Kherson,” the air force said.
