Light, compact and safe: The Vorarlberg-based company Quickshield recently launched a 20×20 centimeter modern interpretation of the medieval fist shield and Militär Aktuell is now giving away one casual and one tactical version of the protective shield worth 225 euros and 249 euros respectively. Made from fiber-reinforced polycarbonate, the Quickshield is suitable for spontaneous deployment and defensive actions, for defending against slashing and stabbing weapons, projectiles, punches and dogs. Encased in a functional pouch, it also offers storage space and camouflages the shield for a de-escalating appearance. It is worn on a quick-release belt holster or shoulder strap. The target groups: armed forces, police, security, fire and rescue services – as well as civilians with a focus on self-defense.
The scope of delivery includes:
- The shield is made of fiber-reinforced polycarbonate,
- the expandable pocket,
- an attachable block case and a
- Holster with patented quick-release fastener.
- The casual version also comes with a leisure bag with a patented quick-release fastener.
