Verney-Carron, a subsidiary of Cybergun, has announced that it has signed a contract worth 36 million euros with the Ukrainian state-owned company Ukrspecexport. In addition to assault rifles and sniper rifles, grenade launchers are also to be supplied.

The framework contract stipulates that Verney-Carron will supply a total of 10,000 assault rifles, 2,000 sniper rifles and 400 grenade launchers. Execution is subject to the provision of the necessary financing, which will be provided from Ukrainian and French funds under an agreement between the Ukrainian state and the Ukraine Support Fund. Assuming the necessary import/export approvals between France and Ukraine are obtained, the first series deliveries should then take place six months after the framework agreement is signed.
