The US Army has Saab an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contract that allows the US armed forces to place orders worth around 450 million euros over a period of five years for the XM919 Individual Assault Munition (IAM) program for AT4CS TW (Confined Space Tandem Warhead).

Unsere neue IAM-Lösung verbessert die Fähigkeiten, beseitigt die Belastungen im Kampf und wurde speziell für die Bedürfnisse der US-Kunden entwickelt”, betonte Erik Smith, Präsident und CEO von Saab in den USA. Er fügte hinzu: „Saab hat ein erfolgreiches, kampferprobtes System weiterentwickelt, um es noch effektiver zu machen und damit sicherzustellen, dass unsere Lösung die beste für den Endnutzer ist.”
AT4 is a combat-proven, successful anti-tank weapon of which more than one million systems have been produced for 15 countries around the world. The AT4 is light, portable and completely disposable and has been the US Army’s operational weapon since 1985. Most recently, the NATO countries Poland and Australia have also procured the systems. The systems are also in use in India, where a production plant is currently being production plant is currently being built there.
