In the run-up to Enforce Tac 2025 and IWA 2025, the two major trade fairs for authorities and outdoor equipment, Tasmanian Tiger (TT) announced this year’s product range. We present some highlights from the range in Ranger Magazine, made by Militär Aktuell.
In 2025, Tasmanian Tiger is focusing in particular on expanding the Medic line. It is also noticeable that TT is now increasingly relying on the lightweight and stable Tegris, which can now also be found in deployment harnesses and other accessories. An overview of the new products:
New in the Medic line
Tasmanian Tiger 2025 provides three new emergency backpacks, a large transport set for modular medical equipment and new IFAK pouches for first aid. A strong signal to all medics!
The TT Modular Medic Combat Pack 18 is a first aid backpack with a volume of 18 liters and a weight of less than two kilograms (empty). Made from TT’s tried and tested 500 DEN Cordurda, there are now also two removable panels made from Tegris (twelve layers) inside for the first time. Also included: a marked pocket for patient cards, a removable infusion bag pocket and transparent pockets with a snap-in light insert. The rucksack also shows operational experience on the outside: there is a compression sack for a rescue sling at the bottom. Already familiar from the TT Survival Pack are the robust side handles and the slim padded back carrying system, which is not too bulky even on plate carriers.
The TT Modular Medic Pack 38 offers an extra 20 liters and, like similar modular packs from TT, this backpack can be fully unfolded and individually equipped with Velcro pockets. Six transparent pockets are included. There are two outer pockets and a large lid compartment for quick access from the outside. Like its smaller companion with 18 liters, the larger Modular Medic Pack 38 also comes with a flat yet soft padded back.
The TT Medic Platoon Pack makes a huge impression with its 57 liter volume, five liters of which can be stored in the lid compartment. The main compartment can be opened completely, inside there is plenty of Velcro and eight transparent pockets. The very slim TT Medic Platoon Side Pocket with a capacity of ten liters is also available as an option. Two of these can be mounted on the outside of the Medic Platoon Pack.
Tasmanian Tiger now offers the TT Medic Container especially for use in modular medical equipment (MSE). The two modules, which can be transported connected to each other or hung together or next to each other in a car or tent, contain eight transparent pockets that are covered with a dust and splash guard and can be closed with a zipper.
Other products in the Medic line include two very slim IFAKs, one designed with PALS loops for rucksacks and the other with Velcro for the plate carrier. In addition, the now classic TT First Responder Move On has been upgraded to the third development stage MK III. We will be presenting details of this directly from the Enforce Tac 2025 and IWA 2025 trade fairs.
Special emergency backpacks
In 2025, Tasmanian Tiger is also supplying new mission backpacks that are sometimes more modular, sometimes more specialized in design. The TT Base Pack Top Load 30 is a toploader with a reinforced lid that can be folded forward. Countless MOLLE loops for the PALS system are sewn onto it, including on the removable hip fins. There are side pockets and Velcro on the inside. Nevertheless, the rucksack is relatively light: it weighs 1.59 kilograms with a volume of 30 liters. This backpack is an absolute all-rounder.
The foldable and extra-slick TT Escape Pack 20 LT is an absolute lightweight. 20 liters fit into the 370 gram additional backpack for civilian and official use.
Tasmanian Tiger provides specialists, especially those with plate carriers, with the TT Breacher Pack. Available as a backpack or permanently mounted with the PALS loops, it offers enough space for tools inside with 14 liters. Quick access for the bolt cutter is possible with removable tool tubes, and when carried inside it can be up to 80 centimeters long. Mesh pockets also provide space for small parts.
Finally, with the TT Gear Pack ZP, Tasmanian Tiger is specifically targeting users who want to mount their tools on the back of the plate carrier (compatible with TT Plate Carrier QR LC ZP).
Equipment for use
Tasmanian Tiger 2025 also delivers new product developments in terms of equipment. With the TT Plate Carrier LP LC Frame, Tasmanian Tiger presents a very lightweight yet highly modular plate carrier. The front is equipped with Velcro, but also has slots at chest height for PALS/MOLLE equipment. TT has also been offering detailed solutions made from Tegris since 2025.
The back has a classic design with a maximum of laser-cut slits. The cummerbund is reinforced with Tegris and has three magazine insert pockets on each side (for M4-sized magazines). The plate carrier holds SAPI plates up to 30 x 25 centimeters.
Tasmanian Tiger supplies the TT Battle Belt Set in two sizes. As with none of the other new TT products from 2025, Tegris plays the leading role here. The belt can be cut to size yourself and is then covered with Cordura laminate with MOLLE slots and a removable material loop. The new combat belt is held together with an AustriAlpin buckle (25 millimeters). Underneath, the Velcro inner belt keeps everything on the hips.
In addition to a number of other items of equipment, the new TT Weapon Bag MRW for medium-range weapons also catches the eye.
Suitable for weapons up to 95 centimeters in length and 26 centimeters in height, the weapon pouch is equipped with numerous MOLLE loops and a muzzle guard on the inside, while on the outside there is a generous pocket with three firmly sewn magazine and mesh pockets. The shoulder strap is padded and can also be removed.
Outlook
Tasmanian Tiger will once again be presenting some remarkable new products in 2025. Magazin Aktuell and Ranger Magazine will report from both trade fairs in Nuremberg, Enforce Tac 2025 and IWA 2025, and provide more details on the new products. We will also have the opportunity to test the new products again this year. So it’s worth staying tuned.
