Systematic and the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) have recently signed a contract for the provision of their Future Land Command and Control Capability (FLC2) of the SitaWare Headquarters Software. The aim is to enable interoperability and the rapid exchange of information between the partners.
In addition to implementing the software, Systematic also provides initial training support. Once integrated, the system will ensure efficient communication and decision-making. As SitaWare Headquarters is already used by some NATO countries and other Western countries – including the USA, Germany and Italy – interoperability between the armed forces will be improved. Systematic is also working with NATO in the area of military messaging. NATO has been using the IRIS application there for a good ten years. https://militaeraktuell.at/die-oesterreicher-auf-der-eurosatory-2024-in-paris/ Sven Trusch, Managing Director of Systematic’s German branch, promised: “We are committed to the full implementation of SitaWare Headquarters to ensure a smooth transition to this new capability and enable access to all operational functions.” On the NATO side, Will Leeming, FLC2 Project Manager at NCI, said: “This partnership with Systematic will provide NATO warfighters with the capability for improved battle management and situational awareness, as well as enhanced interoperability between NATO functional area services.”
