Product news from Streamlight: The provider of lighting tools presented the ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Pro pistol light. The flashlight has up to 1,000 lumens, 50,000 candela and a beam range of more than 400 meters. With the jack-cap end-cap switch, the light can be operated both by push-button and remote control. Users can choose between two different battery types – SL-B26 rechargeable batteries and CR123A batteries.

The integrated rail clamp allows the flashlight to be mounted quickly and securely on rifles, carbines and submachine guns with MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) using a one-hand snap-in and tightening interface. This technology allows the user to keep their hands away from the muzzle of the weapon when mounting the light. The light can also be operated in different levels – momentary, continuous light and strobe mode. https://militaeraktuell.at/diehl-defence-iris-t-slm-fuer-slowenien/ When using the rechargeable SL-B26 battery, the light can be operated for 1.75 hours at high level and almost 24 hours at low level. With the CR123A batteries, the output is slightly lower at 1.25 hours on high level and 21 hours on low level. On the low setting, the flashlight only delivers 60 instead of 1,000 lumens, 3,100 candela instead of the 50,000 on the high setting and a range of just over 100 meters. At the high setting, the range is over 400 meters. The pistol light is around 14 centimeters long and weighs between 180 and 205 grams, depending on the type of battery used. The lamp is even suitable for waterproof operation down to one meter for 30 minutes. Ray Sharrah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Streamlight, said of the light: “Not only does it act as a high lumen light, but with its 50,000 candela and long beam range, it brings more light to a distant target. This makes it a powerful tactical tool for law enforcement, military personnel and other first responders.”
