In mid-April, special operations forces from six countries trained cooperation in an urban environment as part of a CJSOCT (“Combined Joint Special Operations Counter Terrorism”) workshop. The exercises in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland focused on “imaginable scenarios and scenarios that have already happened in a similar form in reality”, according to Colonel Horst Hofer, Commander of the Hunting Command. For the first time, the special forces also had the opportunity to train in a shopping center. Coordinated action in a platoon was also on the training plan.
