Muse Electronics has received a seven-figure investment from Sparring Capital Partners. The company plans to use the funding to expand the presence of its military tablet Backbone on the European markets.

The company has worked with European military and infrastructure partners for over a decade to develop what it believes is the “world’s most secure portable data terminal”. This includes the supply chain: Backbone is built in Europe and is designed for environments “where technical failure is not an option”, according to a recent press release. “It was developed to support top secret military operations.”
