This year, the Easter Bunny is receiving active support from three dedicated associations to make Easter an unforgettable experience at the Contraste children’s and youth residential community in Villach/Warmbad. The associations “Soldaten mit Herz”, “Sankt Stanislaus Orden” and the Austrian Chargengesellschaft are joining forces to bring a smile to the children’s faces and give them hope.

“Helping the Easter Bunny is a matter close to our hearts. We want to show the children that they are not alone and that we are there for them,” explains John Patrick Platzer, President of the charitable association “Soldiers with a Heart”. The Order of St. Stanislaus in Carinthia is led by Prior and Commander Thomas Schatz: “It touches us deeply to bring a smile to children in need and brighten their Easter with books, games and loving gestures.” Erhard Vrana, President of the Austrian Charity Society, has traveled all the way from Vienna and adds: “Every child deserves a happy Easter. But we also want to focus on the important work of the caregivers. They do a great job and we want to express our thanks to them too.” https://militaeraktuell.at/nato-uebt-flussuebersetzung-bei-dragon-24/ Contraste social pedagogue Christina Wernig took over the gifts for the residential community and expressed her sincere thanks: “We would like to thank you very much on behalf of the children for the great gifts. This makes Easter in the shared flat an even better celebration for everyone. It is always enriching to see the joy with which people can give gifts to others. This is also something that our children will hopefully take with them for the rest of their lives.” The young residents of Contraste Villach can look forward to a wide range of gifts, including traditional chocolate eggs from Italy, reading and coloring books, card and board games and cuddly toys. This moving campaign underlines the importance of solidarity and cohesion in society, especially in difficult times. “We want to strengthen the children’s trust in the world around them. We would like to thank the team for their commitment throughout the year,” all three association chairmen agree.
