Armybug inspire with the announcement of their own shooting event in Vorarlberg. In an exciting scenario, you can prove yourself in one of the four classes. Militär Aktuell and Ranger Magazin are media partners. The details of the event.
Angi and Stephan are busy – the founders of Armybug (-> Here in an interview) not only equip the community with hoods and deployment belts (-> The long-term test of the Bug Belt). The Armybug team has now also organized a shooting event for 14 and 15 June 2025. As a media partner, we have the details.
“It should be fun – with complete safety, of course, which is very important to us,” Angi tells us in conversation. “The participants should be enthusiastic about the experience,” she adds. Armybug organized a shooting event two years ago. There is still talk today of the enthusiasm and grins on the faces of the participants after the competition. At “Operation Green Hell”, too, great importance is attached to the overall setting: Decoration, music, everything has to fit.

The event will take place from June 14 and 15, 2025 in the Koma Zone in Lustenau (Vorarlberg). The competition is shot with a handgun. You can expect to fire 50 rounds, five magazines are required. Everything you need can be rented on site: Gun, magazines, belt, holster. You can also stock up on ammunition on site. Anyone who would need a European firearms pass for the journey and does not have one will still be equipped for the competition.
Who can take part? Not only people with a valid firearms document may take part, but also enthusiasts without a firearms license (WBK), provided they have the relevant experience in handling handguns. Four classes are counted in “Operation Green Hell”: Without or with sighting device, there is also a women’s classification and an overall classification. There will be prizes for the winners of each classification. There will also be a raffle and an exhibition of manufacturers and stores from the outdoor and tactical sector. Among others, Steinadler, Oberland Arms, Radial Gear and the professional detective agency Marent will be there. Thanks to catering, no one will have to starve or die of thirst at “Operation Green Hell”.
