The sum of 10,605 euros was donated by the audience at a charity concert by the Salzburg Military Music in Hallein on the Pernerinsel in aid of the “Rotary Club” Hallein – Salzburg Süd.
The donation was symbolically handed over to the board members of the “Rotary Club” Hallein – Salzburg Süd, Josef Schauer and Wolfgang Ebner, by the military commander of Salzburg, Brigadier Anton Waldner and military band leader Colonel Ernst Herzog. “Rotary Clubs” are charitable associations to which members of various professions have joined together, regardless of political or religious affiliations. Rotary’s objectives include humanitarian services, commitment to peace and international understanding as well as “service in everyday life”.
