The Supervisory Board of Rheinmetall AG has appointed Sabina Jeschke and former Federal Minister Sigmar Gabriel (-> Report on the appointment) as new members of the Supervisory Board. At the same time, the mandates of Andreas Georgi, Marc Tüngler and Ulrich Grillo are to be extended. The corresponding nominations will be published together with the invitation to the 2025 Annual General Meeting. After many years of successful participation, Susanne Hannemann and Klaus-Günter Vennemann will step down from Rheinmetall’s Supervisory Board at the end of the shareholders’ meeting on May 13, 2025. The graduate physicist specializes in artificial intelligence, data analysis, cyber-physical systems, robotics, automation technology and human-machine interaction, network technologies and high-performance computing/quantum computing. From 2009 to 2017, she was a full professor in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and was responsible for “Digitalization and Technology” on the Deutsche Bahn Executive Board from 2017 to 2021. She is the co-founder of a number of tech start-ups and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Vitesco, the specialist for drive technologies, from 2021 to 2024. Sabina Jeschke also holds an honorary professorship at TU Berlin. She has been a member of the advisory board of DPE (Deutsche Private Equity) since October 2024.
